74 workers were killed in workplace accidents in Israel throughout 2022. About half of the fatalities were the result of accidents in the construction, renovation and infrastructure sector. January – Eight workers killed:

February 9 – Gazi Abu Sabitan, 20, and Ahmed Ziad al-Siyad, 26, both from East Jerusalem, fell to their deaths from a mechanical scaffolding about 30 meters (nearly 100 feet) high at the Babylon Park site in Tel Aviv.

February 12 – Saeed Kadah, about 40 years old, from the village of Kabiya in the West Bank near Ramallah, was killed after being hit by an iron rod after a mobile crane was upended at a construction site. He left behind six children.
