Around 600 workers at the Israeli branch of Fresenius Medical Care Israel will benefit from a new collective agreement signed last week between management, the union, and the Histadrut’s Union of Clerical, Administration & Public Service Employees. The agreement includes graded annual salary increases, a mechanism to reduce internal wage disparities, improved welfare conditions, additional compensation for unique job roles, and increased pension contributions, all while safeguarding employee rights and supporting the company’s continued development.

Fresenius is a global German healthcare company founded in 1912. Fresenius Medical Care is its largest division, specializing in dialysis and kidney treatments. The company operates dialysis centers worldwide and manufactures equipment and materials for dialysis treatments.

Union of Clerical, Administration & Public Service Employees expressed his pride in the agreement. “The agreement proves that through responsible, professional, and creative dialogue, gaps can be bridged, and understandings can be reached that benefit both employees and the company,”  he said.

The negotiations were led by Zineb Mansour, head of the Health Workers Division at Histadrut’s Union of Clerical, Administration & Public Service Employees, together with Fresenius union chair Hussein Khatib and union members Sigalit Hershkovitz, Rami Anabtaoui, and Haithem Halaileh. Economic issues were overseen by Michael Koschev from the Histadrut’s Economic Department and Yael Shiloni, legal counsel for the Union of Clerical, Administration & Public Service Employees. Representing company management in the negotiations were Fresenius Israel CEO Limor Berger, VP of Human Resources Sivan Korin, company economist Gil Rashti, and legal counsel Michal Harel.
