A collective agreement was signed on Wednesday morning for the employees of “Miloperi – Agricultural Cooperative Society Ltd.,” between the Histadrut leadership in the Western Galilee region, the company’s management, and the workers’ representatives.

Under the agreement, employees with two or more years of seniority will be entitled to wage increases based on their base salary and a global overtime component, ranging from 1% to 4% in 2026. In each of the following years of the agreement, wages will increase by between 2% and 2.5%.

The agreement also updates additional benefits: the holiday gift has been set at 650 shekels, twice a year; a birthday gift will amount to 120 shekels; and a gift for marriage or the birth of a child will be 400 shekels.

“Miloperi” is a packing house for avocados, citrus, and other fruits, owned by kibbutzim and moshavim in the Western Galilee and located near Kibbutz Rosh HaNikra. The new agreement is valid for four years and constitutes an extension of a previous agreement, alongside several additions and changes.

Asher Shmueli, chair of the Histadrut’s Western Galilee region, said: “The agreement signed today is a deep expression of appreciation for the employees of ‘Miloperi,’ who continue to show up every day and stand at the forefront of production, even during a complex and challenging period for the entire country. Their perseverance, responsibility, and dedication allow the agricultural sector to keep operating, and we are committed to ensuring that this effort is properly reflected in their wages and welfare conditions. I thank the company’s management and the workers’ representatives for respectful cooperation that proves that even in challenging times, it is possible to reach agreements that benefit everyone.”

Also involved in formulating the agreement were Na’amat Western Galilee chair Ofra Cohen Elkayam, regional trade union secretary Adv. Muhammad Safiyeh, “Miloperi” CEO Eyal Ovadia, the plant’s HR manager Moran Golden, workers’ committee chair Rowan Zini, and committee members Samah Kiyal and Lila Dzialoshinsky.
