Bennett and Lapid Unveil the Joint List of the Together Party: “We Will Limit a Prime Minister’s Term to Eight Years”

The Together Party List:

1. 1. Naftali Bennett – former Prime Minister and former defense, education, and economy minister.
2. 2. Yair Lapid – Former prime minister, opposition leader, former foreign and finance minister, and chair of Yesh Atid.
3. 3. Keren Turner (Bennett) – Former director-general of the Finance and Transportation ministries.
4. 4. Merav Ben Ari (Lapid) – Opposition coordinator, chair of the Yesh Atid faction, and the first woman to serve as chair of the National Security Committee.
5. 5. Liran Avisar Ben-Horin (Bennett) – Former director-general of the Communications Ministry and project manager for the party’s reform programs.
6. 6. Noam Tibon (Lapid) – Major General (res.) and hero of October 7.
7. 7. Michal Nagri (Bennett) – Former CEO of the Ra’anana Municipality and mother of the late Roi Nagri, who fell in battle for Be’eri on October 7
8. 8. Eitan Ginzburg (Bennett) – Former communications minister and former mayor of Ra’anana.
9. 9. Merav Cohen (Lapid) – Former Minister for Social Equality and chair of the Knesset Committee on the Status of Women.
10. 10. Yonatan Shalev (Bennett) – Founder of the “Shoulder to Shoulder” reservists’ organization and one of the leaders of the campaign against the draft evasion bill.
11. 11. Ram Ben Barak (Lapid) – Former deputy head of the Mossad, former chair of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, and one of the leaders of the campaign against the draft evasion bill.
12. 12. Bruria Naim Arman (Bennett) – CEO of the party and a community-relations entrepreneur.
13. 13. Naor Shiri (Lapid) – Former deputy mayor of Hod Hasharon and leader of the campaign against Haredi political extortion in the Knesset.
14. 14. Amir Strogo (Bennett)  – A reservist major in the Maglan special forces unit and former CEO of the Aharai! organization.
15. 15. Nisan Zaavi (Bennett) – One of the leaders of the campaign to rehabilitate and develop northern Israel; founder of the “1701 Lobby” and “Homeward – Returning to the Galilee.”
16. 16. Vladimir Beliak (Lapid) – Coordinator for coalition and opposition factions on the Knesset Finance Committee and recipient of the 2023 Quality of Government Knight award.
17. 17. Orly Harel (Bennett) – Lawyer, high-tech entrepreneur, and prominent social activist.
18. 18. Yorai Lahav-Hartzenu (Lapid) – Chair of the Knesset LGBTQ+ and Environmental Lobby and former chair of Yesh Atid Young.
19. 19. Shahar Varon (Bennett) – A reservist major who was seriously wounded during the Swords of Iron war and returned to fight; leads the party’s rehabilitation program for wounded IDF soldiers.
20. 20. Yasmin Saks-Friedman (Lapid)  – Chair of the Knesset Committee for Assistance to Holocaust Survivors and chair of the Knesset Animal Welfare Lobby.

Lapid, speaking at the launch event for the Together Party’s Knesset list: “We are living in an era of lies, but there is such a thing as facts. If the country was in a much better state when Naftali Bennett was prime minister, then Naftali Bennett should be prime minister. That is what I tell everyone who asks why I joined forces with him: because I was there. Because I saw him up close, closer than anyone else. I saw how he performed as prime minister in the most difficult, most complex moments, and I tell you with full responsibility: he is the best suited for the job.”

“If the country was in a much better state when the people on this stage were government ministers, directors-general of government ministries, and heads of Knesset committees, then they should be the ones to manage and lead the next government, for the glory of the State of Israel. Look at the security situation, the economy, the borders, crime, international relations, the cost of living, terror attacks, and the state of your granddaughter’s bed. Look at how these things were managed four years ago, and how they are managed today—and then you will know what kind of government you want.”

Bennett: “Standing before you is Israel’s team of doers. I’ve been in politics for 15 years, and I tell you: look at the people standing behind me. This is the most talented, most capable, and most dedicated slate to run for the Knesset in a generation. This is Israel’s team of doers! The most experienced and determined parliamentarians, the best directors-general of government ministries in the country. We have fighters here, heroes of October 7 who saved the country once, and are now joining us to save it again.”

“Let me tell you something: along the way, we were offered ‘celebrities,’ big, flashy names, but from the very beginning we decided: we don’t need celebrities! The criteria for choosing the people on the list were clear: I saw a government working against its citizens, and I realized that everything needed to be turned upside down. For this to work, we chose people who would charge toward the goal and refuse to give in to any pressure on the way to fixing the country. The first correction has been made.”

“Israel is not being governed, and in order to fix Israel, we need the country’s best managers and doers—people who know how to start making changes from day one. Minutes after the government is sworn in, we will establish a state commission of inquiry to investigate the failures surrounding the October 7 massacre. We will bring our Haredi brothers into the national effort, without quotas and without political deals. We will declare Qatar an enemy state. We will break up monopolies to bring down prices, and restore governance to Israel. We will limit a prime minister’s term to eight years. You will see here a highway of action the country has never seen before. The October 7 government destroyed, and the October 27 government will fix.”
