According to the final election results for the 26th Knesset, following the completion of the vote count, the Netanyahu bloc won 53 seats, compared with 48 for the Eisenkot bloc. The Arab parties won a combined 19 seats, an unprecedented achievement.
The Joint List won 11 seats and Ra’am won eight. Likud is the largest party, with 27 seats, followed by Yashar with 21. The Amcha Yisrael party, led by Ofer Winter, and the Reservists and the Economic Party, led by Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelicha, failed to cross the electoral threshold.
These figures are based on the counting of approximately five million votes. Around 5.7 million Israelis voted in total, with turnout reaching 77.7%—the highest since 2001.
The Central Elections Committee announced that the counting of the double envelope votes in the 26th Knesset election has been completed. The final number of envelopes will be published later. Around 10,000 workers took part in the counting operation, which was conducted at several locations throughout the Knesset.
The results from the remaining double envelopes have been transferred for data entry and verification. Once the process is complete, the results will be announced at a press conference at the Central Elections Committee’s control centre.
The Committee clarified that even the results published after data entry and verification are completed will not be final, and that a further examination of the integrity of the election will take place after their publication. The official results will be published on Wednesday.
